Start in 2026 SummerJubilee Immigration Advocates is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable immigration legal services and advocating for just immigration policies. They are seeking 1 or 2 bilingual undergraduate or recent college graduate interns for the summer term to assist with various administrative and legal tasks while serving a diverse clientele.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Manage telephone reception duties and make appropriate referrals
Conduct new intake screening and manage ongoing client communications
Perform administrative and clerical duties including scheduling appointments and processing mail
Assist with translations and interpretation
Assist legal staff with casework
Qualification
Required
Rising undergraduate juniors and seniors or recent college graduate
Bilingual in Spanish, Cantonese or Mandarin
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Highly proficient in using standard office technology such as Google Workspace, Slack and Zoom
Commitment to working with low-income clients from diverse backgrounds
