This role involves leading complex water infrastructure projects while ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction, as well as providing mentorship to junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage infrastructure projects from conceptual planning through final design, specifications, and cost estimates
Provide technical oversight for planning and design of pipelines, treatment facilities, pump stations, and storage facilities
Manage multiple projects concurrently, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
Maintain and expand existing client relationships and support business development activities
Ensure technical accuracy, adherence to engineering standards, and proper documentation
Evaluate design alternatives, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Provide construction support, including interpretation of plans and specifications and coordination of design modifications
Make independent assessments of engineering problems and recommend solutions
Achieve project financial targets related to profitability and utilization
Mentor and provide leadership to junior engineers and project staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil or Environmental Engineering in Texas, or ability to obtain licensure within six months
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Related Experience
Experience in technical project execution and developing, writing, and pricing scopes of work for proposals
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred
Experience managing water, wastewater, or stormwater projects for public sector clients
Prior experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
Familiarity with Texas regulatory requirements and local agency standards
