Responsibilities

Develop innovative induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-based models of ALS using patient-derived fibroblasts and genome-edited cell lines

Perform neural differentiations to generate cellular models for phenotype discovery

Design, execute, and manage experiments with a high level of scientific rigor

Analyze experimental data and present findings to the Cell Biology team and at company-wide meetings

Stay informed of the latest scientific advancements and proactively share new ideas, methodologies, and insights with colleagues

Required

Education: MS/MA or Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology or a related field

Experience: Proven experience with mammalian cell culture and general molecular and cellular biology techniques

Attributes: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects

Preferred

Background in neurobiology, stem cell biology, cellular immunology, genome editing, cell-based assay development, laboratory automation, or high-content cell analysis
