Responsibilities

Serves as a dedicated Philanthropic Advisor for selected high net worth and ultra-high net worth organization / individual / family relationships within a particular market or region
Works closely with other senior members of the relationship team to meet all of client’s philanthropic planning, wealth planning, estate planning and wealth transfer needs
Responsible for developing new and expanding current wealth management relationships, with focus on private foundations, endowments, planned giving programs, and other charitable entities
Must have an established professional network in the local and/or regional market
This role has potentially substantial travel requirements, due to providing services within a defined geographic territory

Required

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of functional experience (recent consulting, accounting or legal experience with a major law or accounting firm or corporate fiduciary or nonprofit organization)
Professional designation that may include, but is not limited to: JD, MBA, CPA, CTFA, CFP, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP), Certified 2164 Trainer, and/or Graduate of National Trust School Program

Preferred

Broad knowledge of the philanthropic, fiduciary, tax and estate planning disciplines
Experience drafting or reviewing charitable, estate, business or other planning documents for clients with net worth exceeding $10 million
Well-developed communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Deep tact, diplomacy and people skills
