Responsibilities
Maintaining sanitary equipment and environment for the production of food products
Operating, monitoring and understanding the CIP systems and COP systems
Manually and hand cleaning silo and pipeline parts
Operating and maintaining equipment in the CIP room
Receiving bulk chemicals
Maintaining accurate written cleaning reports and checklists
Cleaning production hallways, and assisting in cleaning all plant areas as needed
Qualification
Required
good understanding of sanitation practices and principles, including manual and automated cleaning
willing to work in a team environment as well as independently
ability to work flexible days and hours
must have the ability to lift 50 pounds
must have basic mechanical ability
must have the ability to climb ladders to clean over head piping
basic computer, reading, and math skills
good written and verbal communication skills
ability to solve problems in the work area with little supervision
