This senior nursing leadership role oversees Emergency Services, ensuring high-quality care and operational excellence across multiple emergency care settings.

Responsibilities
Identify operational or clinical issues and implement effective solutions with communication and follow-through
Participate in hospital and departmental committees, ensuring key updates are communicated to staff
Advance patient experience initiatives within the Emergency Department
Coach, mentor, and evaluate direct reports; support career development and succession planning
Ensure adherence to HR policies and documentation standards
Communicate organizational, industry, and departmental priorities effectively
Promote evidence-based staff engagement practices
Build strong cross-departmental relationships to support organizational goals
Conduct employee and patient rounding; identify and mentor emerging leaders
Enforce standards of emergency care and develop processes to ensure consistent compliance
Oversee the operations of the main ED, two FSEDs, and the inpatient hold unit
Manage resource allocation, staffing, budgets, and departmental performance measures
Support hospital expansion planning as the facility prepares for significant growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required
3+ years of Emergency Services experience
5+ years of leadership experience
RN licensure (or eligibility) in applicable state
ACLS and PALS required
Preferred
CEN and TNCC preferred
