Independently perform complex spatial and statistical analysis work to inform the development of broadband plans by region and county in unserved and underserved parts of California
Serve as a technical resource for the regional project managers to decipher broadband deployment maps, identify existing broadband infrastructure and infrastructure gaps to inform program priorities

Prepare and submit a response for each question in the Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that provides specific details and examples demonstrating how your training, experience, and education qualifies you for the position
Organize disparate geospatial data sources so that data can be made available in either view or edit formats to multiple users across the agency
Experience with geospatial queries and analyses, ensuring repeatable and verifiable results, and effectively communicating the results of the analyses
Background working in multi-disciplinary fields where requests for information may come from team members with non-data backgrounds
Effectively translate and verify technical requests, explain methodology deployed, and concisely explain the results and reliability of the analyses
Submit a copy of your transcript or diploma if using education to meet the minimum qualifications for this position
Obtain and submit verification of United States course/degree equivalency if education was completed outside the United States
Complete the STD 678 state application with dates, duties and responsibilities, and contact names and phone numbers of supervisors
Submit a completed STD 678 to be considered for the position
Submit a current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account
