Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and global priorities
Evaluate market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and commodity trends to identify opportunities that enhance performance and competitive positioning
Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to leadership to support sourcing initiatives and continuous improvement
Assess and mitigate supplier risks by developing and implementing effective contingency plans to ensure supply continuity
Partner closely with cross‑functional teams, including Master Scheduling, Planning, Manufacturing, Distribution Centers, and external suppliers, to meet customer and operational requirements
Monitor supplier performance, track key KPIs, and drive ongoing improvement across the supply base
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain or a related field
Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and manage category strategies and supplier networks
Strong negotiation skills with experience managing complex supplier agreements
Proven track record of initiating and executing projects that reduce cost, enhance productivity, mitigate supplier risk, and expand capacity
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Agile, Oracle) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong collaborative mindset with effective communication and problem‑solving skills
Preferred
Experience consolidating SKUs and spend across a diverse supplier base
Experience developing SKU and component catalogs
Hands‑on experience with RFQs
Experience managing large tail spend and portfolios of 500+ SKUs
