Responsibilities
Acts as a data analyst with subject matter expertise related to advisory data (e.g. Accounts, Positions, Transactions, Instruments, Proposal/Models, Portfolio Construction and Performance Reporting)
Analyzes, defines and prioritizes the data transformation requirements and functional or operational specifications in collaboration with to Wove product managers, data architects, data engineering, and data owners
Performs data mining and analysis to determine impact assessment
Develop and maintain data lineage documentation and mappings to support data governance, regulatory, compliance, and data lineage analysis activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
Typically requires 8-12 years of total work experience, preferably in securities or financial services
Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management concepts, and regulatory requirements
Strong stakeholder management and people skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure
You will have strong analytical skills, are familiar with Agile methodology and played an active role in scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and execution
Uses SQL or Python for data mining purposes to troubleshoot data conditions in relational databases
SQL Skills required 8-10 years data analysis querying skills/PL SQL skills/Big Data analysis
Preferred
Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Mongdb, Colibra a plus
