Responsibilities

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user systems, including coordination with network engineers

Monitors and manages system resources, and response times to maintain operating efficiency

Act as a primary technical interface with government stakeholders, RCC leadership, and vendors, translating mission requirements into technical solutions and providing regular operational and risk status reporting

Drive lifecycle management activities, including software upgrades, configuration governance, and failover planning, ensuring high availability and continuity of service. Provide senior-level escalation support and strategic guidance for complex incidents, balancing operational urgency with long-term architectural stability

Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources

Required

Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA

Technical Support of CONUS IP VTC and Voice Over IP (VOIP) Telephony

Technical Advisor for US Army Voice Modernization version 1.0 and 2.0

Expertise in VoIP and VTC system operations, maintenance, and security

Use of network devices from multiple vendors to include Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Various Network technologies to troubleshoot network issues related to routing, firewall or Access Control List issues
