Legal Assistant - Workers' Compensation
Hall & Evans, LLC is seeking a candidate with legal assistant or paralegal experience to support its Workers' Compensation practice in their Denver office. The role involves assembling and filing documents, coordinating depositions and trials, and maintaining client files while ensuring effective communication with clients and court personnel.

Responsibilities
Assemble and file documents electronically
Prepare motion and discovery shells, motion filing
Expert coordination for depositions and trials
Assist with preparation of trial/mediation/arbitration documents
Interface professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court clerks
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent technology skills
Process payment requests and coordinates the client billing process
Maintain client files and contact information
Schedule meetings, conference calls, depositions, court hearings, and travel arrangements
Outlook/LSS calendaring, and iManage document management program experience is highly preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Well-developed skills in editing, proofreading, and grammar
Ability to anticipate problems, find solutions, and prioritize work accordingly
Well-developed time management and organizational skills
Effectively manage a high-volume workload with critical deadlines
Ability to exercise a high degree of personal integrity, confidentiality, tact, discretion, and judgment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
Knowledge of manipulation and editing of PDF documents using Acrobat Adobe
Ability to work overtime as necessary
Ability to do billable hours, preferred
Other administrative tasks, as assigned, and
Complex defense litigation experience is highly preferred
Qualification
Required
Legal Assistance or paralegal experience working in Workers' Compensation, required
Assemble and file documents electronically
