Human Resources Recruitment & Training Specialist
Henniges Automotive is seeking a Human Resources Recruitment & Training Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting and develop training programs. The role involves collaborating with hiring managers, designing onboarding programs, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates for a variety of positions
Develop and maintain talent pipelines through proactive outreach, networking, job fairs, community partnerships, vocational/technical schools and online recruitment strategies
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job postings, and define selection criteria
Coordinate and schedule interviews, conduct reference checks, and manage pre-employment requirements
Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, turnover, etc.) and recommend improvements
Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
Design, coordinate, and deliver new-hire onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration into the organization
Develop, update, and facilitate training materials, including compliance, safety, and job-specific instruction
Work with production, quality, and safety departments to coordinate job-specific training for new hires and cross-training for existing employees
Partner with department leaders to ensure employees receive required and ongoing training
Monitor training completion and maintain accurate training records as well as support continuous improvement by identifying training gaps and recommending updates to training materials and processes
Assist with HR projects, policy updates, employee engagement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned
Maintain accurate recruitment, training and payroll documentation in HRIS systems
Process weekly payroll accurately and timely
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, training and payroll processing
Experience designing or delivering training and onboarding programs
Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting practices and modern sourcing strategies
Excellent communication, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills with the ability to train diverse groups
Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Understanding of employment laws and best practices
Ability to design and facilitate engaging training sessions
Preferred
Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Experience in high-volume or fast-paced hiring environments with a strong understanding of manufacturing staffing needs and industrial labor markets is a plus
