Albion College is seeking a Director of Videography and Photography responsible for creating compelling video and photographic content to engage various stakeholders. This role involves collaboration with marketing staff and freelancers to produce content for multiple platforms while analyzing the effectiveness of the productions.

Responsibilities

Planning, directing, capturing and editing branded video, photo, audio, and motion graphic content

Collaborating with fellow staff in the Office of Marketing and Communications, student interns, and freelancers

Creating engaging content for college-owned channels, events, advertisements, and beyond

Measuring the effectiveness of the productions with analytical tools to inform future work

Planning, prioritizing, and organizing a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, video production, digital marketing, multimedia production, or related field, from a four-year college or university

2-5 minimum years of videography and photography experience

Drone license or willingness to work towards licensure

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Availability to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends

Strong background in digital asset management
