Responsibilities

Design, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Python , Pytest , and Playwright

Collaborate with developers to validate user stories and new features

Install, configure, and test products in Linux environments (creating and managing virtual machines where required)

Implement robust automation for functionality, performance, and reliability testing

Troubleshoot and optimize automation pipelines for efficiency

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows

Qualification

Required

Strong Python programming skills (framework or tool development experience preferred)

Hands-on experience working in Linux environments (comfortable with Bash, SSH, and CLI troubleshooting)

Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, cURL, or custom Python scripts

Exposure to Git/GitHub, Jira, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins

Working knowledge of SQL commands

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Based within commutable distance to Holmdel, NJ (on-site role)

Preferred

Framework or tool development experience in Python

Bonus skills: AWS, Docker, Ansible
