Right At School provides before and after school programs focused on enriching children's learning experiences. The Part-Time After-School Site Program Manager is responsible for organizing activities, delivering curriculum, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the program.

Responsibilities

Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation

Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way

Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play

Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel

Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children

Meets regularly with the Area Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

Required

High School Diploma/GED

At least 21 years of age

At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program in a childcare/school setting

Availability Monday through Friday at the scheduled time listed above is required

Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills

One year of supervisor/management experience

At least one year of experience working with children 5-13 years of age in a formal group childcare setting

70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management

Ability to lift 40lbs

Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living

Ability to meet state-specific requirements
