Responsibilities
Spearhead the development and execution of procurement strategies for ingredients, packaging, and commodities
Lead supplier selection, performance management, and long-term relationship building
Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms, pricing, and risk mitigation
Drive process improvements and ERP technology adoption to enhance departmental efficiency
Monitor market trends, conduct risk assessments, and implement best practices for inventory management
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with organizational objectives
Champion ethical sourcing and sustainability initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or a related field
Proven leadership experience in Procurement or Supply Chain within a food manufacturing environment
Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimization
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a track record of process innovation
Experience with commodities, ingredients, and packaging materials (films, cartons, corrugated, etc.)
Hands-on, proactive leadership style and a passion for driving results in a dynamic setting
