Career Pathways Manager - Hybrid

The Washington Association for Community Health is dedicated to enhancing access to quality health care statewide. The Career Pathways Manager will oversee the development and administration of apprenticeship and training programs, ensuring compliance and quality maintenance while managing a team.

Responsibilities

Identify and address gaps and/or barriers to program participation, workforce demands, partner feedback, legislation, etc. through sustainable program changes or program policy
Conduct regular audits and evaluations of the program to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines
Lead initiatives to continuously improve program processes, services, and outcomes, using feedback from stakeholders and data-driven insights that address and resolve any issues or complaints related to program quality, working closely with staff and stakeholders to implement corrective actions
Manage and mentor supervises, fostering a culture of trust, growth, and development
Contract with and manage external consultants or subcontractors such as course instructors
Represent the Association’s suite of registered healthcare apprenticeships as a liaison with state and federal regulatory bodies, ensuring all reporting and compliance requirements are met
Track student outcomes and disciplinary procedures, including facilitation of the Apprenticeship Committee
Assist leadership in the development of grant work plans, program vision, and organizing and facilitating collaboration among staff
Provide data to executive leadership when requested to inform the development of progress reports, grant applications, and/or the Association’s annual report
Participate in ongoing educational opportunities, such as technical assistance calls and webinars, and state, regional, and national meetings and conferences as warranted

Required

Experience in implementing adult training programs or knowledge of governmental laws, rules, or regulations regarding apprenticeship in Washington
Ability to supervise and mentor staff with a wide variety of personalities; regularly practice critical thinking, listening, and giving and receiving feedback
Strong interpersonal skills with experience in active listening, conflict resolution, empathy, collaboration, and adaptability
Demonstrated experience with multi-stakeholder initiatives convening and supporting collaborative efforts
Demonstrated excellence in internal and external customer service
Ability to work well in a professional team environment, including respect of differences, enthusiasm for collaboration, communication, and celebration; and appreciation for the critical role everyone plays in project and mission implementation
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 4 years of relevant professional experience. An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated experience (including internships, volunteer roles, or significant project leadership) will be considered
Minimum three (3) years of experience in program management and/or supervisory responsibilities
Must possess reliable and dependable transportation

Preferred

Master's degree in health-related field, business/organizational development, public administration, or education
3+ years direct supervisory experience or 2+ years leadership or mentorship experience with junior associates
