Responsibilities

Maintenance of General Ledger and Reporting (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual)
Calculation of Annual CAM and TAX true ups
Work closely with property management team in order to resolve property related issues and ensure quality reporting-Bank reconciliations
Oversee Cash receipts/receivables for portfolio
Review Budgets and provide feedback to Property Managers
Lease review, interpretation and compliance
Debt review and compliance reporting
Partnership agreement review and compliance reporting
Maintaining and processing quarterly distributions to partners
Miscellaneous Partner requests related to Due diligence of properties
Work with outside CPA firm for Annual Book and Tax requirements

Qualification

Accounting/Finance degreeProperty management accountingAttention to detailTime managementUnderstanding of accounting

Required

B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting/Finance
Knowledge of or ability to learn property management accounting processes, including use of any industry specific software (MRI, Yardi or similar)
Demonstrate a strong understanding of all aspects of accounting
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Great time management skills- ability to prioritize responsibilities
