Responsibilities
Operate Omnicell automation systems at customer sites per SOPs and best practices
Perform return and restocking duties to maximize automation efficiency
Monitor formulary inventory levels for daily dispensing needs
Conduct prescribed maintenance and report unresolved issues to Technical Assistance Center (TAC)
Perform daily and periodic equipment cleaning and inspections
Identify and resolve common system issues; escalate as needed
Maintain proactive communication with pharmacy operations and customers
Deliver customer-focused support emphasizing quality, professionalism, and responsiveness
Conduct training and ensure compliance with all procedures and policies
Manage work-related expenses per Omnicell travel policies
Comply with customer facility guidelines and maintain required certifications
Serve as a resource or SME for team members, providing training and workflow support
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
An Active Ohio (OH) State Pharmacy Technician License / Registration from the State Board of Pharmacy
An Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA-CPhT /ExCPT)
Working knowledge of pharmacy automation
Strong organizational and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work with mechanical equipment and troubleshoot issues
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint
Self-starter with ability to work independently and follow detailed plans
Preferred
Completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program
2+ years of hospital pharmacy automation experience
Basic troubleshooting skills with automation devices
