Senior Scientist - Ob/Gyn
Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking a Senior Scientist focused on immunological pathways related to obstetrical disorders. The successful candidate will design and conduct research projects, manage data analysis, and assist with grant preparation to improve understanding and treatment of pregnancy complications.

Responsibilities
Collaborates with PI on the design, conduct and reporting of research projects
Participates in implementing animal-based research objectives, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and protocol guidelines
Collects and logs laboratory results, research outcomes and/or survey data
Evaluates and performs data analysis using graphs, charts, or tables to highlight the key points of the research results collected in accordance with the research protocols as stipulated
Organizes and edits research data and documents to ensure accuracy
Assists with grant preparation and reporting
May submit grant proposals in rare circumstances with the approval of the PI, Department Head and Dean
Prepares and submits papers on research
Develops hypotheses to be tested and ways of testing it
Complies with established safety procedures and maintaining required documentation on laboratory and specimen conditions
Manages research project with other institutions and investigators

Required
Phd Or Terminal Degree Or Combination Of Education And Experience May Substitute For Minimum Education
No specific certification/professional license is required for this position
Postdoctoral (3 Years)
Must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals
