This role involves overseeing the entire accounting function and partnering closely with executive leadership on financial strategy, reporting, and capital management.

Responsibilities

Report directly to the CFO and oversee the full accounting department

Manage and develop the Corporate Controller and Financial Analyst

Ensure timely and accurate month-end close across all entities

Review and analyze monthly apartment operating statements

Ensure operating proformas for each operating entity are updated at least quarterly

Oversee consolidated roll-ups of all entities, including P&L and cash flow reporting

Prepare materials for quarterly management meetings

Prepare and oversee quarterly Board reporting and Board books

Oversee all property appraisals

Oversee loan draws and capital tracking

Serve as the primary point of contact for lenders

Prepare ad hoc proformas and cash flow analyses to support investment and operating decisions
