Responsibilities

Support execution of Vantage’s North American community engagement strategy, applying innovative thinking and strong problem-solving skills locally in partnership with internal collaborators and external partners
Coordinate and lead local engagement efforts—such as community events, workforce development partnerships, sponsorships, volunteer initiatives, and site-based programs, driving continuous improvement and creative solutions to strengthen community impact
Develop and maintain a stakeholder map of nonprofit organizations, schools, chambers, local officials, and workforce boards in key markets identifying new opportunities and innovative partnerships
Help prioritize and attend community-facing meetings and events; collect key takeaways, support follow-ups, and supervise progress
Maintain accurate and timely records of engagement efforts, outcomes, and key performance indicators; ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws; assist with reporting and presentations for internal and external audiences
Supervise regional community and partner sentiment in both new and existing markets; flag potential opportunities or concerns
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Public Policy, and Operations to ensure messaging and execution are aligned across teams
Handle additional duties as assigned by Management

Required

2–4 years of experience in community engagement, partner relations, nonprofit partnerships, or public affairs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including writing and public speaking, with a proven track record to build trust across multifaceted communities; a natural relationship builder
Organized, detailed, and capable of running multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative approach and ability to work across departments and regions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools; experience with CRM or impact reporting tools a plus
Flexibility to travel for site visits, events, or partner meetings as needed (anticipated up to 25%)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in public Affairs, Communications, Political Science, or a related field
Experience supporting community programs in regulated industries, capital-intensive sectors, or infrastructure development
Comfort navigating both grassroots and executive-level engagement
