Responsibilities
Independently manage an assigned book of business, maintaining high levels of accuracy, responsiveness, and client satisfaction
Review, analyze, and update client insurance portfolios to ensure appropriate coverage and risk management strategies
Manage or support quoting, marketing, and carrier submissions to ensure competitive and customized insurance solutions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners; demonstrate a solid understanding of carrier websites and appetites
Manage renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, and client inquiries promptly and professionally
Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals and support agency growth initiatives
Ensure all client activity and policy documentation is maintained in the agency management system (AMS360)
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 + years of experience in commercial lines account management within an independent agency setting
Knowledge of Commercial Lines Coverage and a strong understanding of insurance policies
Experience in Account Management and Customer Service within the insurance industry
Ability to manage insurance accounts while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred
Familiarity with carrier websites, quoting systems, and appetite guides
Proficiency with insurance software systems, AMS360
Relevant insurance certifications or licenses are a plus
