Responsibilities

Preschool Assistants assist with preparing, instructing, and leading activities for program participants
Assistants could also work in the childcare room
Staff should be prepared to work indoors and outdoors on uneven surfaces, in various environmental conditions each week
Preschool Co-teachers are responsible for preparing, instructing, assisting in planning, and leading activities for program participants

Required

Passion for working with preschool-age children
Team-oriented and safety-conscious
Prepared to work indoors and outdoors on uneven surfaces, in various environmental conditions each week
Experience working in a preschool or preschool-equivalent position
Experience working in an educational or childcare related field (i.e. after school programming, preschool, teaching and/or student teaching, tutoring, baby-sitting and/or childcare, etc.)
Enrollment in the Oregon Central Background Registry
First Aid/CPR certification
