PPG is a company dedicated to innovation and sustainability in the coatings industry. They are seeking a Laboratory Technician to contribute to the synthesis of polymers and materials, conduct experiments, and maintain laboratory safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Set up reaction equipment and handle chemical reactants safely

Perform analytical measurements and record detailed experimental results in a laboratory notebook

Maintain a clean and safe laboratory, including proper waste disposal and equipment cleaning

Order laboratory supplies and manage inventory as needed

Follow strict safety protocols, including the daily use of personal protective equipment and occasional respirator use

Collaborate with a supervisory chemist while independently organizing and prioritizing your workload

Qualification

Required

High school diploma with coursework in chemistry required; bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field

1+ years of laboratory experience
