Responsibilities
Design, code, test, and integrate software systems or modify existing software to add new capabilities
Debug, troubleshoot, and correct software defects
Participate in design reviews, requirements analysis, and documentation updates
Develop and implement algorithms, data repositories, and software interfaces
Support integration of software into new or modified systems or operating environments
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required
Preferred
Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
