The API Integration Error Analyst Intern will gain hands-on experience in API integrations and error analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Analyze and document API error reports across supplier integrations, including business rules and logic

Categorize errors by resolution ownership and identify patterns or root causes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate integration and error-handling workflows

Create clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in JIRA to support automation efforts

Assist with testing, QA, and validation of automated API error notifications

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

Familiarity with Web APIs, JSON, and integration concepts through coursework or experience

Experience with or exposure to JIRA, Excel, and other collaboration tools (Outlook, Teams)

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
