They are seeking a motivated student for a Traffic Engineering Internship which offers hands-on experience in traffic engineering projects, including traffic modeling, data collection, and signal design tasks under the supervision of experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing traffic signal, pavement marking, signing, lighting, and maintenance of traffic plans

Support Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) design efforts

Conduct traffic data collection (counts, field observations, etc.)

Assist with traffic impact analyses and traffic operations studies

Support traffic safety and transportation planning studies

Perform basic traffic analyses using industry software

Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimates

Help prepare written technical memoranda and reports

Currently enrolled in an ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program
