UPMC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Payor Contracts team. This role involves performing data analysis of value-based healthcare programs, tracking reimbursement potential, and creating dashboards to monitor program performance.

Responsibilities

Interpret value based programs and transactions for users who must make economic or business decisions
Review costs and perform cost benefit analysis related to projects and/or programs
Analyze financial data and extract payor data and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability
Perform moderately complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the various financial systems
Develop quality, utilization, and financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis
Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Collect and study data to determine costs of business activities. Recommend budget adjustments, and other cost improvement measures

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance or related business field required
Minimum of one year of related work experience required
OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of related work experience
Strong Excel skills required

Act 34 with renewal
Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal

Preferred

PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency preferred
Power BI experience preferred
Population health and payer relations experience preferred
Epic, electronic health record experience preferred
