Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive cloud strategies aligned with business objectives. Architect tailored GCP solutions for application and data migration, modernization, and integration

Lead the design and deployment of cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud solutions. Oversee technical development from inception to operational status, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness

Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture and deployment. Conduct workshops and technical presentations to demonstrate solution feasibility and value

Work closely with business, IT, and security teams to integrate GCP services into existing systems, enhancing performance and reliability

Implement data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST)

Stay updated on emerging GCP technologies and trends. Conduct regular assessments of cloud infrastructure to identify and implement improvements

Required

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining a DoD Secret clearance. Candidates with an active clearance are strongly preferred

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

8+ years of experience in cloud architecture or engineering roles, with at least 3 years focused on Google Cloud Platform

Proven track record of successful client engagements in cloud migration, modernization, and solution integration

Hands-on experience with Terraform, Cloud Foundation Toolkit, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance frameworks

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred

Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent certifications

Experience designing data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, pipelines) and implementing data governance

Ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects in fast-paced environments

Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools
