Responsibilities
Building and maintaining “golden” datasets that reflect expert human judgment
Designing reproducible data pipelines for ingestion, validation, refresh, and evaluation
Implementing metrics to assess quality, drift, and performance over time
Partnering closely with researchers and senior stakeholders to reverse-engineer what “good” looks like and encode it into data and logic
Helping turn one-off analysis into repeatable, governed systems
Improving automation and reducing manual data work across the org
Qualification
Required
Have 3–6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or ML-adjacent data roles
Are fluent in Python, SQL, and Excel, and comfortable owning data end-to-end
Have built or maintained production data pipelines (batch or streaming)
Care deeply about data quality, validation, and edge cases
Are good at working with non-technical stakeholders and translating their needs into data structures
Prefer building systems over building dashboards, and clarity over cleverness
Preferred
Experience with unstructured data (text, documents, transcripts, etc.)
Familiarity with data orchestration or transformation tools (Airflow, dbt, Spark, similar)
Exposure to model evaluation, ML workflows, or data used for benchmarking
Experience in finance, research, or other high-rigor environments
