IT Specialist
Baskervill is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design firm with offices throughout the country. They are seeking a customer service-oriented IT Specialist to provide first-level support and assistance to users, manage desktop/laptop hardware and software, and enforce IT policies and security standards.
Responsibilities
Stage, image, deploy and manage desktop/laptop hardware and software using/managing client orchestration tools
Create and maintain OS images, software deployment packages, licensing, and system documentation
Provide first-level desktop support, troubleshooting, training, and backup help desk coverage
Enforce IT policies, security standards, and software licensing compliance on all systems
Manage phone systems, printers, plotters, copiers, and vendor maintenance relationships
Coordinate user onboarding/offboarding, device management, upgrades, and shared resources
Build strong internal client relationships and support the BIM Manager/Director as needed
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in an IT related field or equivalent professional experience
3–5 years of IT support experience, including helpdesk, desktop hardware/software, and troubleshooting
3–5 years supporting Windows desktop environments and end-user systems
1–2 years of telecommunications experience, including phone systems and VoIP
Working knowledge of Ethernet networking and TCP/IP
Experience supporting and troubleshooting networks, routers, and switches
Preferred
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ and CCNA preferred
