Responsibilities

Monitor and track project budgets, expenditures, and costs in ProCore and Microsoft Dynamics

Lead bi-weekly Project Financial Review meetings with Project Managers

Prepare and analyze financial reports related to project performance

Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing for projects

Collaborate with project managers to review project budgets and forecasts

Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project accounting records

Provide financial support and guidance to project teams

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards

Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management policies and procedures as appropriate to work being undertaken

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is required; with a solid understanding of accounting concepts and rules and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a project accountant or similar role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with ERP Microsoft Dynamics

Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
