Responsibilities
Conduct regular audits of shipments and examine inventory for defects to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
Verify proper storage, handling, and documentation of products
Accurately document audit findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions in quality management systems
Participate in the continuous improvement of quality control procedures and best practices
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments regarding quality expectations, audit results, and process improvements
Monitor and report on key quality metrics to support operational goals
Maintain a strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, productivity, and quality
Foster a motivated workforce through timely communication, consistency, fairness, and recognition of good work or ideas
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall quality and efficiency of the distribution center
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Must be able to clearly communicate using the English language
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience with or the ability to learn SAP
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the proven ability to handle multiple tasks at once
Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
