Responsibilities
Provide technical support and manage engineering aspects of transportation-related projects
Perform detailed design, prepare and review contract documents, and develop construction cost estimates and specifications
Apply AASHTO and RIDOT design standards (MassDOT experience a plus)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams across multiple offices
Deliver responsive client service and clear internal and external communication
Travel within New England as needed
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of transportation/civil engineering design experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D
Experience with RIDOT, RIDEM, and CRMC requirements
Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for site and roadway design
Strong understanding of roadway and infrastructure construction practices
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to mentor and support junior staff
Preferred
PE license preferred
