GreEnergy Resources LLC is seeking a knowledgeable Battery Technician to commission and complete retrofits on Industrial scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role involves extensive travel, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to safety codes while performing various electrical tasks.

Responsibilities

Report any product non-conformances discovered during the course of commissioning and report them to project management
Ensure that yourself and team members adhere to all best practices, work instructions and provide quality workmanship combined with good housekeeping practices
Evaluate product conditions and quality to verify that systems have been assembled, wired correctly to meet product standards
Functionally test electrical circuits working with 24 VDC to 1500 VDC
Troubleshoot and repair integrated systems
Perform enhanced start up procedures, functional tests per applicable manuals
Provide technical assistance to other technicians
Travel extensively and including overtime work involving weekends
Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Required

MUST have prior electrical experience
Previous experience in large scale industrial job sites
Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Valid Driver's license
Good oral and written communication skills (English language)
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to details
Ability to use hand and powered tools
Ability to work independently and unsupervised
Ability to supervise and instruct sub-contractor personnel
Ability to team-lift up to 100lbs
Must be able to pass a drug test
Background check is required
Electrical: 2 years (Required)

Preferred

Prior work in 40cal arc flash suit is wanted
