They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to provide support to engineering platforms and microservices for critical applications used by multiple DoD customers.

Responsibilities

Develop infrastructure, task automation, provision managed services, and leverage Python, Ansible, and Terraform programming languages

Install, configure, and provide performance support for Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud metrics collection tools

Manage CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code utilizing GitLab

Manage commercial cloud computing platforms (Azure and AWS)

Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders

Collaborate with other software and test teams to integrate capabilities

Stay abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity threats and offensive capabilities and contribute to internal research and development efforts

Required

Active Top Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field and 8 years' experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) experience

Strong Git skills for version control (e.g., merge requests, pull requests, pushes), and a solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and the secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDL)

Proficient in Python with a deep understanding of web services

Deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters and custom manifests

Experience with configuring and managing Linux operating systems

Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., KVM, ProxMox, VSphere)

Experience with secure software development practices

Ability to understand and describe highly technical software systems

Knowledge of DoD environment, systems, and applications

Investigating and resolving technical issues

Automated infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, and GitLab CI

Designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant solutions using Azure services including Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure Container Apps, Blob Storage, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
