Responsibilities

Investigate if the operational processes support the strategic objectives

Provide assurance over digital, data and technology related initiatives and projects

Audit from a business perspective and act as a trusted advisor for stakeholders

Provide tailor-made recommendations for improvement

Identify areas of risk, make valuable recommendations and influence positive change

Maintain proactive relationships with business management teams

Design and execute audit programs covering operational, technology, compliance and financial risks

Create impactful recommendations to assist management in better managing their risks

Communicate audit results to senior leaders

Attend learning programs, training and networking sessions

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science / information technology, or a related subject area

5-8 years experience in a professional work environment (Big 4 or large retail company) with specific experience with cloud security, customer facing applications, cybersecurity, network security, store and supply chain IT

Relevant IT certifications such as CISSP, and CISA

Already in possession of or willingness to gain technology specific credentials

Strong analytical skills, writing and oral communication skills

Strong project management skills – work in and/or lead teams to effectively perform work and prioritize assignments within challenging deadlines

The ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior business leaders

The ability to be independent, decisive and a self-supporting team player

Understanding how new technology impacts business processes (i.e., cloud, mechanization, internet of things (IoT), artificial Intelligence (AI))

Ability to travel within the US 10-20%
