Chief Human Resources Officer
UVM Health - UVM Medical Center is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) who will be a key member of the executive leadership team. The CHRO will provide vision and leadership for all human capital functions and ensure HR strategies support the organization’s academic, clinical, and community missions.

Provides vision and leadership for all human capital functions, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, organizational development, total rewards, employee experience, employee and labor relations, HR operations, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development
Ensures HR strategies support the organization’s academic, clinical, and community missions while promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field required
15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility in a complex, multisite organization
Demonstrated success leading cultural transformation, workforce redesign, and HR modernization initiatives
Strategic thinker with ability to align people strategy to mission and long-term goals
Collaborative, transparent, and inclusive leadership style
Ability to influence and lead in a matrixed academic medical environment
Strong emotional intelligence and commitment to equity and wellbeing
