Responsibilities

Assist in month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports and workpapers

Process Accounts Payable (A/P) transactions, including invoice verification, coding, etc

Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP

Assist in the preparation and filing of sales tax returns and other regulatory report

Assist in financial system implementations, integrations, and improvements

Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance policy documentation

Required

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered

Knowledge of accounting fundamentals

An established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems are required

Requires intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval

Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc Strong organizational skills with a robust inquisitive mindset

Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations
