MSR Technology Group is an Inc 500/5000 corporation that has been recognized for its growth over the last seven years. They are seeking an Engineering Technician to perform moderately complex technical tasks in support of engineering projects at the Interiors Engineering Development Lab. The role involves building and testing commercial aircraft seats and providing technical support to engineers.

Responsibilities

Works with engineers to build and test commercial aircraft seats and furniture
Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks
Confer with engineers on details and implications of test article build, test procedures and results
Machine small parts based on drawing

Qualification

Machining experienceEngineering drawing interpretation2D3D modeling softwareTechnical supportQuality assurance experienceBasic computer proficiencyHand tools proficiencyTeamworkWritten communicationOral communicationOrganizational skills

Required

HS Diploma or Associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and minimum 4 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient with variety of hand tools
Proficient with basic mechanical and manufacturing concepts
Excellent written and oral communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment
Basic computer proficiency
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
Working knowledge of engineering drawing interpretations

Preferred

Experience in a highly regulated industry, especially aerospace or automotive
Experience working in a testing and quality assurance environment
Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge and experience with 2D and 3D modeling software
Demonstrated knowledge of metal machining and fabrication equipment
