SolomonEdwards is partnering with a leading mortgage client to identify a Mortgage Processor who will support daily loan reviews and ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of loan files. This role involves performing complex data validation and conducting daily reviews to confirm compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform complex data and document validation to ensure loan accuracy

Conduct daily loan reviews to confirm findings and conditions are met

Troubleshoot third-party orders including title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certifications, and credit

Complete appraisal eligibility and review tasks

Evaluate loan applications for compliance with product and regulatory guidelines

Handle more complex calls, emails, and chat inquiries from internal and external partners

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

Experience in financial services, with mortgage industry experience preferred

Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working in loan systems
