Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

Own critical components of the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet integrity
Perform and review complex balance sheet reconciliations, with a strong focus on cash, AR, and accruals
Analyze P&L trends and ensure timely, accurate expense recognition
Investigate and resolve GL discrepancies and reconciling items
Manage inventory accounting and related controls
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and supporting schedules
Support external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and direct interaction with auditors
Partner with operations, AP, and FP&A to improve data accuracy and close efficiency
Help design, document, and implement scalable accounting policies and internal controls
Actively support systems optimization and automation, including Sage Intacct, BlackLine, Ramp, Stampli, etc

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA is a plus)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or PE-backed operating company is a plus)
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets)
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with a proactive, ownership mindset
Comfortable with ambiguity and solving complex problems
Experience with modern ERP systems (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar) and a tech-forward approach

Preferred

Additional fluency in other languages is preferred but not required
