Responsibilities

Build, support, and maintain data pipelines from source to consumption layers using Snowflake, dbt, Python, and SQL

Implement the medallion architecture to ensure organized data progression and quality

Assemble large, sophisticated data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements

Leverage the standard data engineering technology stack to deliver data pipelines that are compliant with enterprise standards and best practices

Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery

Research and evaluate new and emerging technologies within the data engineering space

Work with various stakeholders across the company to gather requirements

Assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs

Advise or review proposed or ongoing data engineering pipelines and respective components within the organization

Collaborate with other business and technical teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

Perform code reviews and help enforce data engineering standards and best practices

Ensure solutions are compliant with standards set by the Data Engineering team and comply with all policies

Build, document, and maintain pipeline components
