They are seeking a Local SEO Specialist to enhance their clients' local digital presence, focusing on optimizing Google Business Profiles, managing reputation, and implementing local SEO strategies.

Responsibilities
Fully manage and optimize Google Business Profiles to improve visibility in the Local Map Pack
Publish GBP posts, manage photos, services, and categories
Ensure accurate and consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone) data across all platforms
Build, audit, and maintain citations across major local directories (e.g., Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing Places, Yellow Pages)
Identify and leverage niche-specific directories relevant to each client’s industry
Implement and manage review generation strategies to increase high-quality reviews
Draft and post professional, brand-appropriate responses to reviews across platforms
Research and target high-intent, location-based keywords (e.g., “[service] near me,” “[service] in [city]”)
Align keyword strategy with actual buyer intent rather than informational vanity terms
Optimize local service pages for rankings and conversions
Create or guide the creation of localized content that answers customer questions and builds trust
Ensure on-page SEO best practices are followed (headers, internal linking, metadata, schema)
Ensure websites are mobile-first, fast-loading, and conversion-focused
Implement and manage local business schema and other relevant structured data
Collaborate with web and paid media teams to align SEO with broader marketing efforts
Track meaningful local SEO KPIs such as phone calls, direction requests, form submissions, and booked appointments
Provide clear, concise reporting focused on outcomes—not just rankings
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a strong emphasis on Local SEO for service-based businesses
Deep understanding of proximity, relevance, and prominence as they relate to local search algorithms
Experience with local SEO platforms (e.g., BrightLocal, Whitespark, Moz Local) and core SEO measurement tools such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
Strong understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) principles and how SEO supports lead generation
Ability to clearly explain performance, strategy, and next steps to internal teams and clients without excessive jargon
Preferred
Experience working with automotive, home services, or other local service industries
Familiarity with appointment scheduling systems and CRM integrations
Understanding of paid local acquisition channels such as Google Local Services Ads (LSAs)
Exposure to multi-location SEO strategies
Experience optimizing for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
