Events Management Senior Associate
Chase is a leading financial institution that offers innovative financial solutions. They are seeking a Senior Associate on the Commercial Banking event strategy team to manage and activate complex events and strategic partnerships across multiple Innovation Economy segments.

Responsibilities
Serve as strategy lead for select initiatives, acting as quarterback in executing strategic client engagement programming—including regular planning with business leads, driving ongoing check-in calls, budget management, and oversight of both proprietary events and sponsorships
Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique segments and industries within the Innovation Economy, tailoring approaches to each team and initiative
Assist strategy managers across the Innovation Economy team on the full slate of strategic client engagement programming throughout the event lifecycle, including developing differentiated agendas and content, project management, competitive research, supporting speaker selection and preparation, event recaps, ROI analysis, client stories, and providing on-site support as needed
Collaborate with the Event Production team to lead the development and logistical execution of best-in-class event and sponsorship programming
Provide hands-on support for events, including logistics, attendee management, and on-site execution
Collect, clean, and validate event-related data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and actionable insights
Manage and maintain up-to-date budgets for all programs, secure required approvals, document variances, and process payments and invoices
Analyze RSVP trends, attendance, and engagement metrics to inform and optimize event strategy
Participate in annual planning with an emphasis on innovative formats and differentiated content
Oversee the completion of scorecards for each program to capture and communicate key takeaways and ROI
Manage various ad hoc projects and events in support of client and prospect engagement, proactively supporting cross-team projects for the broader Commercial Banking event strategy team
Qualification
Required
5+ years or work experience in event/sponsorship management, marketing or communications; banking or financial services
Requires travel (~20% of time) and off-hours event execution, including higher volume during busy seasons
Demonstrates exceptional executive presence and professionalism when interacting with senior leaders and clients; able to build trust and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong sense of time management, prioritization and ability to execute against deliverables with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated track record of thriving in fast-paced, matrixed environment with minimal supervision. Team player that is self-motivated, entrepreneurial, effective under pressure and flexible (able to adapt to changing priorities). Excellent relationship management skills - ability to influence and interact with senior executives and business leaders
Go-getter attitude, ready to contribute to a variety of projects, events and sponsorships
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and proven ability to operate independently and drive success with minimal guidance
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal required, including the ability to translate data-driven insights and measurement into actionable next steps
Strong desire to creatively problem solve; proven ability to navigate/analyze complex data. Also, Proven ability to operate with a sense of personal accountability; strong work ethic; self-starter; high level of professionalism and integrity
Excellent/advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Preferred
Financial services/Commercial banking; management consulting; or platform experience
Experience managing event and sponsorships for founders, investors, startups and high-growth companies
Marketing, Brand, Sales Support, Communications, Public Relations experience helpful
