Quality Control and Governance Process Manager

Responsibilities
Partner with business units to identify, assess, and document risk and compliance controls, including those related to new or modified products, services, distribution channels, regulations, and third-party operations
Perform control testing and execute quality control for departmental processes
Plan and execute test steps within established deadlines with minimal supervision
Assist in the development and implementation of controls as needed
Evaluate operational and design effectiveness of controls
Maintain documentation and support for testing results, including detailed findings for reporting
Support root cause analysis and issue remediation activities
Identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions to strengthen the control environment
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
Promote well-managed processes within Consumer Lending to drive sustainability, enhance automation, and improve transparency and accountability
Support creation and revision of process documentation, including version control
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required
Minimum four years relevant experience in risk, compliance, legal or audit required
Financial services or insurance industry experience required
Strong knowledge of Consumer Lending products and processes, applicable regulations, and regulatory requirements required
Demonstrated ability to effectively challenge and influence in business or team settings
Ability to effectively work with internal and external partners in a highly collaborative environment
Demonstrated ability to identify potential concerns and recommend effective solutions
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
