District Sales Manager
Advantech USA is a leader in providing innovative embedded and automation products and solutions. They are seeking a District Sales Manager to lead a team of Key Account Managers, drive sales strategies, and collaborate with marketing to generate demand within key accounts.

Responsibilities
Hiring and leading a team of Key Account Managers who are responsible for researching, identifying, and generating net new opportunities at both existing accounts and projected growth accounts
Building, qualifying, and managing an accurate and growing sales funnel using Salesforce for the accounts and Key Account team members that they are assigned
Close collaboration with the Marketing and Product Sales Management organizations in the development of key account strategy and demand generation activities required in both geographical territories as well as vertical markets that they are assigned
Collaboration, and planning of dedicated marketing and sales campaigns which lead to new demand generation activities within Advantech
Broad familiarity with demand generation tools including Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other tools is preferred
Establishing metrics for success for the Key Account Managers and reporting progress regularly back to the senior management and executive teams
Reviewing contracts and agreements from the Key Account Management team – conducting first pass reviews before signature by an Advantech executive
Conducting Quarterly or Semi-Annual Business Reviews with Key Account Managers at strategic accounts throughout the territory
Assisting with Quota setting and management for the Key Account Management team
Developing and executing a go-to market sales plan
Running weekly or bi-weekly Key Account Management calls to sync on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
Semi-Regular travel with Key Account Managers to ensure Advantech’s value proposition is clearly communicated and received at accounts within the assigned market
Managing and developing a set of PGAs (Potential Growth Accounts)
Qualification
Required
BS degree in business, engineering, or similar fields
At least 8 years of experience selling industrial computers to OEM accounts and system integrators
At least 3 years of experience hiring, coaching, and driving a sales team
Polished communication and negotiation with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Extremely proactive, highly organized, and proven ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and diverse culture
Passion for excellence and service in all aspects of business
Preferred
MS or MBA preferred
Broad familiarity with demand generation tools including Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other tools is preferred
