Responsibilities

Focus on research, development, and evaluating new technology, processes, or equipment for computer vision algorithms for on-road and off-road autonomous driving vehicles and sensing features

Blend camera images, sensor data, and software interpreters to aid in driver and vehicle safety around a target autonomous vehicle platform, such as a tractor or construction vehicle

Formulate and test algorithms for terrain traversal and select sensors, mounts and mounting locations to support accurate measurements

Ensure software processing runs at or near real-time to maximize safety windows

Deploy core software solutions onto on-board autonomous vehicle platform (embedded system)

Design and write software to calibrate sensors, create data pipelines to validate sensor performance, and test the algorithms against collected data for accuracy
