Responsibilities

Partner with the Board of Directors and staff to create, implement, and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies
Plan, coordinate, and execute signature annual fundraising events and secure sponsorships
Lead staff and volunteers in designing and implementing targeted fundraising campaigns
Identify and pursue new funding sources including grants, corporate partnerships, and philanthropic activities
Act as the primary representative and public ambassador for the organization
Direct daily operations to ensure efficient delivery of processes, programs, and services
Partner with administrative staff to create, monitor, and manage organizational budgets
Provide strategic leadership and supervision to staff and volunteers
Maintain compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations
Manage the organization's digital presence
Foster and maintain productive working relationships with the Board of Directors
Establish systems and processes for information sharing with the Board
Provide consistent updates to the Board of Directors and deliver progress reports
Build and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders and community partners
Guide the execution and alignment of organizational activities with strategic priorities
Oversee communications and actively engage the community and stakeholders
Champion the organization's mission by promoting its work to expand visibility and grow support

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant field required; graduate degree preferred
Demonstrated success leading a nonprofit or human services organization
Proven track record in strategic planning and executive leadership
Experience in staff management, volunteer coordination, and Board partnership
Strong capability in developing and implementing fundraising strategies
Experience with grant proposal development and donor cultivation
Established connections within the community and with potential funding partners
Understanding of evidence-based approaches in autism services and developmental support
Capability to guide program creation, implementation, and assessment
Track record of growing or expanding programs in response to community demand
Experience with budget oversight and financial management
Knowledge of nonprofit financial reporting and regulatory compliance
Ability to drive funding acquisition and ensure long-term financial health
Exceptional communication abilities and cultural awareness
Background working with families, caregivers, and community organizations
Experience advocating for disability rights or autism-related causes
Understanding of nonprofit governance, federal/state regulations, and compliance reporting
Familiarity with healthcare privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Capacity to develop relationships with stakeholders, funders, and community leaders
Ability to articulate and pursue long-term organizational vision
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Experience serving diverse populations
Understanding of cultural, socioeconomic, and linguistic diversity within the autism community
